Mercenaries 2 UK Chaos
A Mercenaries 2 PR stunt was setup to give away 20,000 Pounds (i.e. the money, not the weight) of gasoline for free to lucky consumers…
According to the Telegraph:
A petrol station which gave away free fuel has been temporarily shut down after motorists flocking to its pumps caused traffic chaos.
Electronic Arts were giving away £20,000 worth of fuel at the station on Stapleton Hall Road, near Finsbury Park, north London, as part of a promotion for a new video game.
Chaos ensued… (see video below)…
Do you think they knew this mess was going to happen and did it on purpose under the old impression that “there is no such thing as bad press?”
